Stepping Stones Preschool has chosen HighScope curriculum. HighScope is a researched based and child focused curriculum. It uses a carefully designed process called "active participatory learning" to achieve powerful, positive outcomes. HighScope curriculum helps children excel in language and cognitive learning but also promotes independence, curiosity, decision-making, cooperation, persistence, creativity and problem solving.

Stepping Stones Preschool and Science Center can provide an all-day Preschool program. We have discovered that many parents are finding the half day option tricky and are seeking care for their children after the typical half day preschool. We have designed this class to fulfill that need. For more details, visit our "Curriculum" page.
Stepping Stones Preschool and Science Center is a Pennsylvania Licensed preschool offering a friendly, educational and nurturing environment for 3, 4, and 5-year old children of families in Millersville and surrounding communities. Our younger students practice social skills through play and discovery in the classroom, while our 4 and 5 year olds have fun practicing those readiness skills that are so important in the development of young learners. As professional educators, our teachers emphasize the growth of the child as a whole.
All of our students will enjoy learning in our Science Center where discovery is important. The children will explore jungles, plants, dinosaurs, magnets, and much more. Our teachers know that a love of learning in the science area is an important element in a child's educational growth.
